HindSighters
Based in Endwell NY - Hindsighters are a goodwill advocacy group dedicated to bringing hope and relief to our neighbors. We seek to reconcile divisions and to be a voice for social, political, economic and environmental reform. We believe that by reflecting on past mistakes, learning from history, and engaging in nuanced dialogue, we can build a more balanced, informed and united society. Our mission is to bridge divides, challenge destructive ideologies and promote meaningful change rooted in wisdom, empathy and common ground while remaining "Joyful in Hope, Patient in affliction and Faithful in Prayer"! We are meeting once a month- our meetings have different themes with fun interactive activities, old/new business, political issues, local rallies and events, and ways to get involved. Are you a progressive citizen looking to get more involved in making a difference in Ohio and the U.S.? Are you a member or leader of a progressive group in East Central Ohio interesting in sharing information and otherwise collaborating with other groups and individuals on issues and actions of shared concern? Our continued areas of interest include reproductive rights, redistricting reform, school boards, voter suppression, civic engagement (especially in under-represented groups), supporting progressive candidates whose gerrymandered districts cross county or community lines, redistricting reform.
