Those of us far away (CET time zone) can also organize to help protect democracy in the face of crazy things from the once again 'president' (aka traitor) of the USA and his ilk... Join in with this group to brainstorm and act! The current administration's wrecking balls are affecting us all. Many countries have problems of right wing and authoritarian politicians... The thought is that this group might not just be for American voters, as so much of the world is having difficulties around democracy/totalitarianism... What could help everyone is to find concrete ways to take action that matters... Even from Europe, we can make our voices heard!

Baltimore Area Good Trouble
Our goal is to bring together women and others in our area (Northeast Baltimore City/County) area to rally around the issues supported by Red Wine and Blue and Trouble Nation and build our community. Strong communities are resilient communities. Our plan is to use our local libraries and other public places as meeting places to make our meetings accessible and safe places for women and others and to show our support for the community. We will also be supporting other local groups in their efforts.

Based in Endwell NY - Hindsighters are a goodwill advocacy group dedicated to bringing hope and relief to our neighbors. We seek to reconcile divisions and to be a voice for social, political, economic and environmental reform. We believe that by reflecting on past mistakes, learning from history, and engaging in nuanced dialogue, we can build a more balanced, informed and united society. Our mission is to bridge divides, challenge destructive ideologies and promote meaningful change rooted in wisdom, empathy and common ground while remaining "Joyful in Hope, Patient in affliction and Faithful in Prayer"! We are meeting once a month- our meetings have different themes with fun interactive activities, old/new business, political issues, local rallies and events, and ways to get involved. Our continued areas of interest include reproductive rights, redistricting reform, school boards, voter suppression, civic engagement (especially in under-represented groups), supporting progressive candidates whose gerrymandered districts cross county or community lines, redistricting reform. We are a TroubleNation group in process of being newly formed in Wolfeboro,NH. Elections Matter Now
This is a non partisan group focused on uniting with millions of other pro-democracy Americans for nonviolent noncooperation with the authoritarian regime ruling our country at this moment in history. According to historian Heather Cox Richardson, our country has been here before and survived. This time let's do better than survive and work together to build a democracy that works for everyone, not just the white oligarchs of our country and the world. Republicans, independents and democrats that want to participate in fighting for democracy, are welcome here! Bring your ideas and your energy. Together we'll brainstorm opportunities for each one of us, that'll fit our individual styles to work on crumbling the pillars that are supporting the authoritarians! 1. We have to continually stand up and sound the alarm as the Trump Administration and authors of Project 2025 press on rolling out the Project 2025 agenda and ending democracy. 2. There are many ways to be part of the democracy defending movement: a. call congresspeople in our state and all across the country b. rallies c. postcarding/letters d. community networking e. I'd love to hear your ideas too 3. Do all we can to help get democrats elected in 2026, sending them to congress so they can impeach the wanna be king. 4. Get democrats/independents elected down ballot in 2026 to prevent Project 2025 from being carried out at the state level. 5. Dark money will be pouring into elections. We need to educate and encourage voters to consider who is paying for the media messages & how they're trying to manipulate our votes. 6. Work with our swing state democratic parties in any way we can to help turn out voters sending a loud, clear message to MAGA extremists that WE ARE NOT GOING BACK, WE ARE MOVING FORWARD.
