Mountain Women Move Mountains
Our local group meets at Augustina's Winery in Nederland on Sunday evenings at 5pm to do at least one action each week to promote our values of protecting democracy, our environment, our books, our bodies, and Grandpa Bredo. ....oh...and drink wine with like-minded people. It's OK to have coffee...or a seltzer...or cannabis gummies...it's Ned after all.

We are committed to finding ways to get involved at the state and local level, as well as finding creative ways to engage with other organizations to do meaningful work in our community. This Marietta square ladies' group seeks to be a joyful and safe space for liberal / progressive / moderate ladies seeking positive connections, opportunities for local community outreach and political activism. Through our meetings and events we will examine "best practices" and brainstorm strategies. Please note that this group is not exclusive to any specific organization, but INCLUSIVE of all efforts to "move the needle" collaboratively.

Triad Actioneers - Greater Triad Area NC
Our local group will connect people ready for action in our community who want to work with others to protect democracy on the local, state, and national levels. This Team will meet monthly to discuss relevant topics, share actions needed immediately, and rally our troops to take action. We welcome people to champion an issue, inform the group on it, and plan action for it. As interest grows in the Triad, we will host even larger gatherings to share information and most importantly, share ACTIONS needed to protect our local, state, and national democracy. With numerous battles being fought regarding topics important to human rights throughout the state of NC, Triad Actioneers formed in the Spring of 2023 to offer a central location for information sharing. Our members found it difficult to keep up with all of the information on each of the important topics. We now team up with other community groups to know how and when to take action for greater impact regarding a hot topic. To alleviate frustration and develop action that will make a positive change, a champion will bring current information and specific needed actions to each meeting regarding the following topics: Education School Budget School Vouchers BOE Updates Freedom to Parent Trans Initiatives Reproductive Health ...any other relevant topic that is key to defending democracy. Our local group will connect badass women in our community who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy primarily at the school board level. We also look to create CONNECTIONS to other groups, so as long as you are one of us...we can help you get to where you want to make an impact! Our group's mission is to support our public schools in creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for students of any kind by: 1. Encouraging parental involvement as a true partnership. 2. Rebuilding trust in our district by improving two-way communications. 3. Initiating and enabling improvements to help our students succeed. 4. Supporting our educators in hearing and honoring the voices of our diverse community. 5. Empowering elected officials to support and create policies that embody these values in our schools.

We are a TroubleNation group in process of being newly formed in Wolfeboro,NH. Our purpose is to enjoy friendships with people of all backgrounds in our community who, with positive focus, want to join with others to share values and to learn about how to protect democracy and freedom here in our Governor Wentworth School District towns, statewide and nationally.
