Team Cannon

“Team Cannon” exists to shed light on local issues affecting the residents of Cannon Township, Kent County, MI. In 2023 alone, the Township Board has hosted an “infomercial” Town Hall by the Kent County Prosecutor disputing Michigan’s majority-passed Proposal 3 regarding reproductive rights, implemented discussion regarding the sale of a public Township Park, mismanaged an ongoing dispute between two businesses and the use of land the Board had given away without a written agreement, replaced the only two female seats on the board with men when the seats became vacant, and publicly bullied and maligned residents asking legitimate questions. Team Cannon’s goal is to see our local government officials working FOR the residents to maintain and improve our community.

Fighting The Radical Right (Ohio)

Welcome to the group! Fighting the RR is a group that is involved with abortion rights, marches, rallies, politics and local issues. Along with volunteering we closely follow Ohio House and Senate bills. We fight back against the far right extremists and show up for our allies when asked. We watch the local school boards, also showing up to meetings when needed. We try to help with LGBTQ+ issues, women's rights, BLM issues, Voting and of course everything in between. Introverted Advocates for Democracy-Alamance

Introverted Advocates for Democracy Alamance is a dedicated group that embraces the unique strengths of introverts in the pursuit of democratic engagement. Recognizing that advocacy can often be overwhelming, we create a supportive environment where quiet reflection and thoughtful dialogue thrive. Our mission is to explore innovative ways to promote democratic values while honoring our natural tendencies for introspection and listening. Through workshops, small discussion groups, and community initiatives, we empower our members to participate in civic life in a manner that feels authentic and comfortable. We believe that every voice matters, and even the softest tones can create meaningful ripples of change. By fostering connections among like-minded individuals, we cultivate a network that champions respectful discourse and collaborative action. Together, we aim to make a positive impact on our community, ensuring that democracy is defended and celebrated in ways that resonate with our introverted spirits.

Advocates for Sensible Action

We are a group of concerned grandmothers at this point. We have long wished we could do something about the nation's ills but did not know where to direct our efforts. Project 2025 has galvanized us to have something specific to fight against . After the election, we plan to address the near total abortion ban in our state (Iowa) and book banning in our schools.
