ATX Women Against Extremism

ATX - Women Against Extremism A Local Chapter of Red, Wine & Blue Women Against Extremism (WAE) – Austin is a local chapter of Red, Wine & Blue, the national organization mobilizing mainstream women to push back against extremism in politics and communities across America. We are a community of Austin women — from all backgrounds and beliefs — who are done sitting on the sidelines while extremist voices grow louder. Through the power of Red, Wine & Blue's national network, we bring women together locally to have honest conversations about radicalization, take action on the issues that matter, and advocate for a more civil and inclusive democracy right here in Central Texas. We host community gatherings, educational events, and advocacy campaigns that give Austin women the knowledge, tools, and community they need to recognize extremism — and effectively counter it. Whether you're politically active or just getting started, there's a place for you here. We're the mainstream — and we're organizing.
