Progressive Action Network — East Central Ohio
Are you a progressive citizen looking to get more involved in making a difference in Ohio and the U.S.? Are you a member or leader of a progressive group in East Central Ohio interesting in sharing information and otherwise collaborating with other groups and individuals on issues and actions of shared concern? Our continued areas of interest include reproductive rights, redistricting reform, school boards, voter suppression, civic engagement (especially in under-represented groups), supporting progressive candidates whose gerrymandered districts cross county or community lines, redistricting reform. Are you an individual looking for a progressive group to join in East Central Ohio that will be a good fit for your time, talents, and interests? Are you someone who prefers to pick and choose among activities of different groups? We are a group of women that get together on a monthly basis to provide a safe space to learn about, discuss, and take action on the local political trends we are concerned with. NC is 9th in the country with the most books banned or challenged at local levels, as measured by the American Library Association, so this is our primary focus. We also try to help with LGBTQ+ issues, Reproductive Rights, BLM issues, Voting and of course everything in between. We would love to have you!
