CO Public Education Good Trouble Team

Howdy, Colorado! This is a group to bring together people and groups around Colorado who support public education. We support each other in different ways - depending on what your needs are. Some people in our network have established groups for their school district already. Others are just 1 or 2 people who want to make an impact but think they are alone! We help our fellow grassroots community members and groups learn about and understand the complex issues related to school boards, districts, and public education so they can TAKE ACTION. Our superpowers: Communication. Connections. Community. We've been working behind the scenes for the past year supporting people and groups across Colorado - not just Denver and the Front Range. To quote one of our community members: We work in the cracks. We work on on strategy AND tactics to address statewide, or multi-community needs. This includes reaching out to national resources on behalf of Colorado. We also deploy our network to help others rapidly scale up as grassroots efforts come together. We embrace the many different lanes where our community members, friends, and colleagues work. After all, it takes a village! Members of our group are also leading the launch of Colorado State Caucus for Democracy and Education.

PHX East Valley

We're a new group and need help organizing our launch event! Please email Julie Ray at [email protected] if you can help. Our local group will connect badass women in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, AJ, & San Tan Valley who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy on the local, state and national levels. MAGA extremists are organizing right now to take over all of the school boards in the East Valley. If we want to stop them, we need to fight back. By Arizona law, school board elections are nonpartisan, and it's going to take all of us doing our part to stop extremists from taking control of our kids' education systems. Because when you mess with suburban women's children, suburban women fight back. Our bodies are on the ballot, too. While MAGA extremists are trying to take us back to abortion laws written in 1864, we'll be gathering signatures to get reproductive freedom on the ballot in November. Because when women work together, we win. Women across America are stepping up and saying ENOUGH. We've had enough of men trying to control our bodies. We've had enough book bans. We've had enough of our kids being afraid of school shootings. We've had enough of division and hate. When you've had enough, too, come join us. You'll be surprised at how much power you already have once you learn how to wield it.

Making Good Trouble In Troutdale

Our local group will connect badass women in our community who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy on the local, state and national levels. Seek out sources of false information and quash them, keep books in our schools, and keep women's rights top of mind. Our local area is very blue, but there is a lot of work that needs to be done in Oregon.

Good Trouble MoCo MD

Our local group will connect people in our community who want to work with others who have concerns for the future of democracy in this country. We want to have open dialogs and bring attention to the rise of bigotry and fascism that we've seen as people seek to ban books and whitewash history. We're open to anyone who wants to join us and bring issues that we can take up on the local and state level to make an impact on a national level.
