Louisville Good Trouble

Louisville Good Trouble will be focused on informing people about the dangers in the content of the project 2025 document. We also aim on urging citizens to check their registration for voting and to get out and vote. We hope to have lots of actionable things we can do to move these objectives forward.

CO Public Education Good Trouble Team

Howdy, Colorado! This is a nonpartisan and multi-partisan group that brings together people and groups around Colorado who support public education. We work together in many different ways - depending on our own needs, talent and time. We grew out of an informal group of grassroots people from communities around Colorado who have been working together for the past year (and more) - not just Denver and the Front Range. Some of us align with a specific political party and others don't. Some people in our network have established groups for their school district already. Others are just 1 or 2 people who want to make an impact but think they are alone! We help our fellow grassroots community members and groups learn about and understand the complex issues related to school boards, districts, and public education so they can TAKE ACTION, whether that's a simple as being an informed voter, or organizing in their community. Our superpowers: Communication. Connections. Community. And Cross-Pollination. Members of our group share a commitment to public education that is effective, accountable, and inclusive. This includes a focus on elected and employed leaders, and their vendors, who demonstrate a commitment to leading with integrity, transparency and respect for the common good. To quote one of our community members: We work in the cracks. We collaborate to share strategy AND tactics related to far-right extremist attacks on public education. This includes reaching out to national resources on behalf of others in Colorado. We also deploy our network to help others rapidly scale up as grassroots efforts come together. We embrace the many different lanes where our community members, friends, and colleagues work. After all, it takes a village! ICYMI: Members of our group also lead the launch of Colorado State Caucus for Democracy and Education. Reporter and education writer Karin Chenoweth founded Democracy and Education in the fall of 2022. Since then, it has grown to include a vibrant group of school board members, former members, candidates, and people involved in school board campaigns from all over the country, many of whom have successfully faced down extremist threats.

Momentum Blue Seattle

Momentum Blue Seattle is a women-led group from the greater Seattle area who came together to work on the 2024 election. Our dual focus was: 1) get-out-the-vote efforts, such as postcard writing; and 2) spread information about Project 2025. Since the election we are refocusing our efforts on resistance to the many harmful, lawless, repugnant actions the Republican administration has begun spewing out. Project 2025, in short. Job 1: Resist, rally, speak and encourage each other to do so. Job 2: Stay focused, organize, and connect with like-minded people and groups. Job 3: Be a community, stay hopeful and sane by having fun. Because we meet both virtually and in person, the group is limited to folks in Seattle or nearby. Access this link for the resources we have developed: Project 2025 Infographics: https://fidlnfree.com/rwb.html Our TroubleNation home page where events and discussions are found: https://redwineblue.controlshift.app/groups/momentum-blue-seattle/

Defending Democracy in Hampden County

DDHC is a local organization in Hampden County, Massachusetts, focused on educating and supporting our community, bringing together like-minded people of various backgrounds, and standing together in the fight against authoritarianism. As a nonpartisan group of concerned citizens, we work together to protect democracy against extremism and misinformation, to protect human rights, voting rights, ensure fair elections, and promote civic engagement in the various towns that comprise Hampden County. "I do believe very strongly that America's democracy is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it - every single person, their willingness to fight for and respect the importance of our democracy. Otherwise, it is very fragile and it will not be able to withstand moments of crisis." Kamala Harris Website: www.ddhc.us
