News Not Noise – Greater New Haven
We're a local group of Greater New Haven residents who want to make staying informed and civically engaged easier, not overwhelming. Whether you're a longtime news follower or just trying to cut through the noise, you belong here. Our Goals: - Strengthen connections across the Greater New Haven community - Share trusted, reliable sources of information - Engage meaningfully in local and national democracy - Take local action that strengthens our communities All in a way that is accessible, social, and grounded! We meet regularly at local cafés and breweries to discuss the issues of the day, share perspectives, and build real relationships with neighbors who value curiosity over outrage and conversation over commentary. This group was created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue and is inspired by the News Not Noise community built by journalist Jessica Yellin. We follow News Not Noise for trusted information without the panic. Check out @jessicayellin on Instagram and News Not Noise on Substack for digestible, reliable news and information. Join us to stay informed, get involved, and connect with others who are paying attention (or want to pay more attention)...without the noise!

Bonfire - Colorado Springs
Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with the Red Wine & Blue Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The RWB Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center. Bonfire Colorado Springs brings together value-aligned women in the COS area to create meaningful relationships where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute. We gather monthly in member homes and local spots throughout The Springs where we lead with empathy, compassion, and kindness to build the community we want to live in. OUR BONFIRE VALUES > Inclusivity & Dialogue > Authenticity > Curiosity & Collaboration > Justice & Democracy > Local Impact > Joy

Constitutions to Congress PA
Constitutions to Congress wants Congress to honor, follow, and defend the Constitution of the United States. We set up tables at local events, and ask people to hand-write letters to Congress, which we then mail with a copy of the Constitution enclosed. We invite other groups to join this effort. We provide support and training.
