Main Street Reading+ Club is group that seeks to connect, challenge, build community and inspire each other through the power of multimedia knowledge. Our Reading "Plus" club goes beyond books at Monthly in-person Reverse Reading Club events. We also are working to pull together guides you can use while reading at home. What is a Reverse Reading Club? A book discussion before the book! You show up and bring your brilliant mind. You can buy food and drinks when we host at local business locations or bring food when we host at local library locations. NC Democracy Reads

A weekly book club that reads books focused on democracy, history, and politics in North Carolina and the United States. Reading different stories that look into the past and present and ask how things have changed and how we can bring positive change through engaging with what we've learned from the material and each other. Join us for a community that is open to all ages, genders, races, and identities who are willing to engage with books thoughtfully and respectfully with others.
