Local Groups
Rebel Roses
Welcome to Rebel Roses, a nonpartisan activist group located in The Rose of New England. We lead with our hearts and provide a cooperative and safe place to gather. We share valuable political information with our members and encourage them to be active in their local communities through activism, volunteerism, and campaigns supported by Red, Wine, and Blue. At Rebel Roses, you’ll find a safe and inclusive place to share ideas, rally together on common issues, and have fun while doing it! We can’t wait to meet you!

Community412
At Community412, COMMUNITY is key. We gather because we know we can’t get through difficult times alone. We may not always share the same views but we share basic values – anti-extremism, pro-democracy, and pro-civil rights. We focus on what we CAN do. We are not an "activist" group -- everyone decides for themselves what they care most about and feel comfortable doing. We strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to share thoughts and ideas because we believe it is uplifting to learn what folks are doing to try to have an impact, no matter how small.

Holler Back Girls
Holler Back Girls is a book-club-style community for working women, moms, and young women who want to get involved locally but don’t know where to start. We attend county commissioner meetings together, then gather to reflect, learn, and build community while developing the practical skills needed to be confident, effective civic participants.

Misses On A Mission
Our mission will be to band together to fight against law-makers and government officials who are trying to take away our liberties and freedoms. In order to counter measures taken by the government to infringe upon our rights, we will do outreach, educate our community, protest, and otherwise spread the word in our region about our mission and about the dangers of allowing the government to take away our freedom and rights. We will also work to educate our communities about the importance of voting. We will help people register to vote, find their polling location, and help them determine who they want to vote for. We will door-knock, postcard, and hold two seasonal cookouts with a DJ, bounce houses, local vendors/businesses selling and giving away goodies, a raffle, face painting, and USA, voting, LGBTQ+, and local/regional themed craft tables.

Cup of Sugar
Cup of Sugar exists to create small, durable rooms of attention where care, dignity, and relationship can be practiced under civic fracture and climate disruption, without scale, spectacle, or extraction. Citizenship, here, is practiced quietly—in decency, responsibility, and shared life. Cup of Sugar begins with a familiar gesture: borrowing something small from a neighbor. Not an argument. Not a program. Just attention. We offer brief reflections on everyday American life—moments of care, repair, and response that sustain democracy long before policies or positions take shape. In conjunction with Cup of Sugar, I began writing a publication titled NOTICINGS, which arises from living under civic fracture and climate disruption. NOTICINGS quietly rejects the idea that democracy or repair is a solo act, or that constant breaking-news outrage can sustain either. Democracy endures through shared attention to what is essential for care, safety, and dignity. To read more, please visit: https://gotcupofsugar.substack.com/

Warriors For Democracy - We're Not Going Back
After we dust ourselves off and shed our last tears, let's regroup and come together to keep fighting for our democracy and our values. We can continue to make our voices heard. With so much out of our control on a bigger scale, let's keep focused on what we can do locally. Let's keep the record of our true history so we can pass it on to the next generation. Let's find a way to be the shining lights to help us all navigate through this darkness.

Bonfire - Broomfield
Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue’s TroubleNation, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. TroubleNation provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center. Broomfield Bonfire is a values-aligned group of women committed to inclusivity, dialogue, curiosity, joy, authenticity, collaboration, justice, and democracy. Our monthly gatherings create space for meaningful connection, thoughtful conversation, shared learning, and local impact. Broomfield Bonfire meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00–8:00 pm.

Dark Skies for Democracy (Northern Arizona)
In Arizona, sometimes it’s a challenge to connect with like-minded folks politically and morally. The erosion of integrity and ethics in American politics and the rise of corruption at the highest levels is cause for alarm. There is a plethora of restrictive, nonsensical decisions being made by hateful, racist groups that will and are affecting many members of our nation. Currently, white Christian nationalism is driving many of these policies and legislation, ignoring our Constitutions clearly stated doctrine outlining the Separation of Church and State. Any religious ideology specifically designed to control and suppress entire groups of people against their will is wrong and unconstitutional. The targets have become; women’s rights, human rights in general (LGBTQIA+), immigrants rights (esp. here in AZ), book banning, school committees, voting rights, local elections, the environment, and more. This group will share information, have regular meetings, brainstorm ideas of protest, and educate ourselves and others. An important component of this group will be ways in which WE can learn how to communicate our message about the threats to our democratic freedoms to those who are not truly understanding what is happening in our country. I live near Sedona, AZ which is a Dark Sky Community, hence the name. I hope you'll give this group a try. Let's build something truly strong and beautiful... together!
