Rebel Roses

Welcome to Rebel Roses, a nonpartisan activist group located in The Rose of New England. We lead with our hearts and provide a cooperative and safe place to gather. We share valuable political information with our members and encourage them to be active in their local communities through activism, volunteerism, and campaigns supported by Red, Wine, and Blue. At Rebel Roses, you’ll find a safe and inclusive place to share ideas, rally together on common issues, and have fun while doing it! We can’t wait to meet you!

Blue Blazers

We want correct, factual information to share with friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances. We want to express how important this election is, not just for the next 4 years, but for the future of our democracy. We are in Southwest Georgia, and have people, men and women, in our county and surrounding counties that are interested in our mission. We believe Red, Wine & Blue/TroubleNation is the avenue we want to pursue to get the job done.

Cup of Sugar

Cup of Sugar exists to create small, durable rooms of attention where care, dignity, and relationship can be practiced under civic fracture and climate disruption, without scale, spectacle, or extraction. Citizenship, here, is practiced quietly—in decency, responsibility, and shared life. Cup of Sugar begins with a familiar gesture: borrowing something small from a neighbor. Not an argument. Not a program. Just attention. We offer brief reflections on everyday American life—moments of care, repair, and response that sustain democracy long before policies or positions take shape. In conjunction with Cup of Sugar, I began writing a publication titled NOTICINGS, which arises from living under civic fracture and climate disruption. NOTICINGS quietly rejects the idea that democracy or repair is a solo act, or that constant breaking-news outrage can sustain either. Democracy endures through shared attention to what is essential for care, safety, and dignity. To read more, please visit: https://gotcupofsugar.substack.com/

Misses On A Mission

Our mission will be to band together to fight against law-makers and government officials who are trying to take away our liberties and freedoms. In order to counter measures taken by the government to infringe upon our rights, we will do outreach, educate our community, protest, and otherwise spread the word in our region about our mission and about the dangers of allowing the government to take away our freedom and rights. We will also work to educate our communities about the importance of voting. We will help people register to vote, find their polling location, and help them determine who they want to vote for. We will door-knock, postcard, and hold two seasonal cookouts with a DJ, bounce houses, local vendors/businesses selling and giving away goodies, a raffle, face painting, and USA, voting, LGBTQ+, and local/regional themed craft tables.

Bonfire - Decatur

Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue’s TroubleNation, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. TroubleNation provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center. Bonfire - Decatur aims to build a fierce community of women gathering around shared values, focusing on personal, professional, and political aspirations. We are creating a safe space for women to own their voices and step into their power together. We will be scheduling regular monthly meetings that include meetups in member's homes, local restaurants and coffee shops, as well as planning regular events outside of our monthly get-togethers, such as museum visits and volunteering opportunities.
