Shenandoah Resists! Defending Democracy

We are everyday people from the Shenandoah Valley, united by a shared commitment to resisting fascism, defending democracy, and upholding the Constitution and civil rights for all. Rooted in our community, we work locally to support our neighbors and ensure our elected officials are accountable to all their constituents—regardless of political party.

EmpowerHER Collective

We are a dynamic group committed to empowering women politically, socially, and emotionally through connection, action, and shared experiences. In these challenging times, we refuse to be divided or discouraged. Instead, we come together to protect democracy, uphold the Constitution, and defend the rights that shape our future. Authoritarianism thrives on fear—but we thrive on joy, solidarity, and action. Through weekly and monthly gatherings, we stay connected, organized, and inspired. Our mission goes beyond resisting extremism—we’re fighting for a better future: strong public education, civil rights, social programs, and more. When they go low, we go local. Let’s build power, make an impact, and have fun doing it. Together, we’ve got this! ✊✨

Oxford Outsiders

The Oxford Outsiders are women who are interested in making change in our town by organizing, gathering, discussing and advocating for a better town that is responsive to the issues that matter to us. Oxford Village and Township are traditionally controlled and managed by the "Old Guard" of people that have been in their positions of power for ages. The Oxford outsiders are "troublemakers" that challenge the status quo. We do this by being watchdogs of the councils, commissions, boards, and elected officials that represent us. We also have fun, providing a space for concerned women to gather to vent commiserate, share, socialize and challenge each other to make a difference in our community.

NEPA No Party Revolution

NEPA No Party Revolution is a grassroots movement for those who are done with division and ready to rise above the noise. Political affiliation doesn't matter here - what matters is coming together to stand against extremism, corruption, and the forces tearing our communities apart. Whether you've felt abandoned by both parties, disillusioned by the current administration, or are a former MAGA supporter looking for a new path forward, you're welcome here. We believe in unity, truth, and everyday people reclaiming their power together. Our goal is to plant seeds of truth, awareness, and compassion to awaken those still asleep and inspire a new kind of civic engagement rooted in unity, not fear. Together we're reclaiming our power and rebuilding our communities from the ground up. The biggest threat to extremism is unity - because when we come together, their power starts to crumble. We're taking a different approach - putting community before politics. Let's be honest, those still deep in the MAGA mindset are unlikely to show up to an openly anti-MAGA event. But they're the ones who most need to be reminded of what's at stake. That's why our strategy is about planting seeds, not picking fights. Arguing gets us nowhere and only gives them a reason to project. This isn't about proving who's right (clearly, we know what's up) - it's about saving democracy and securing a future for our children. Make sure to check out the discussion post and resource section! The discussion posts are a great way to connect, share ideas, and come together in unity. The resource section contains information, tips, and tricks that are useful in the fight against extremism.
