Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with the Red Wine & Blue Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The RWB Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center.

Looking to find community with other women in New Milford who are upset with what is happening in our country. This will be a safe place to discuss thoughts and ideas. There will never be any pressure to do or attend anything, but I know for myself when I have wanted to go to an event or speak up, it always feels better to do it with a friend. Please share with any women you know that could use this group too!

The Postcard Posse is a group of individuals who are working to get citizens informed and registered to vote using hand-written post cards. We primarily target individuals who will likely vote Democrat or voters who have been most negatively impacted by recent political policies.

Our local group will connect people within our community who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy on the local, state and national levels. We are Civil Rights Activists who fight for the rights of all people. We have a passion for fighting for civil rights, against gun violence, domestic violence, and for prison advocacy.

Pink Wave Action
Born from a groundswell of women from the greater Stamford area who march and rally for equal rights, Pink Wave Action is emerging as a leader in grassroots organizing in our Stamford, Connecticut community and beyond. https://pinkwave.org/ Our mission is to support the equitable safety and well-being of women, girls and gender non-conforming people through community organizing, projects and activities. We aim to break down systemic barriers to inclusive and equitable healthcare, education, and leadership so that all people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Bonfire – Loudoun County meets monthly at local libraries. We have scheduled regular monthly meetings that build connection, community and relationships while providing opportunities to learn and give back together. Our members are also actively planning regular events outside of our monthly gatherings — from hikes, to museum visits, to volunteering with organizations in our community.
