We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with the Red Wine & Blue Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The RWB Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center.

There will never be any pressure to do or attend anything, but I know for myself when I have wanted to go to an event or speak up, it always feels better to do it with a friend. We are a group of volunteers who write postcards for political candidates in the Twin Cities' west and southwest metro area and beyond. Our candidates support policies that protect and build a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive Minnesota and country. We have scheduled regular monthly meetings that build connection, community and relationships while providing opportunities to learn and give back together. Our members are also actively planning regular events outside of our monthly gatherings — from hikes, to museum visits, to volunteering with organizations in our community.

We are Civil Rights Activists who fight for the rights of all people. We have a passion for fighting for civil rights, against gun violence, domestic violence, and for prison advocacy.

During the summer, we are joining with members of two other groups, Indivisible and West Valley Women for Democracy on the third Thursday of each month at 4:30. See event notices.
