We are not content to stand by and watch our beloved nation spiral away from a democracy toward authoritarianism. Join us to effect change on local, state and national levels! We support respect for one another, fact-based decision making in lieu of ideologies, and policies to enhance ALL of our citizenry rather than select groups. PHX East Valley

Our local group will connect badass women in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, AJ, & San Tan Valley who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy on the local, state and national levels. MAGA extremists are organizing right now to take over all of the school boards in the East Valley. If we want to stop them, we need to fight back. By Arizona law, school board elections are nonpartisan, and it's going to take all of us doing our part to stop extremists from taking control of our kids' education systems. Because when you mess with suburban women's children, suburban women fight back. Our bodies are on the ballot, too. While MAGA extremists are trying to take us back to abortion laws written in 1864, we'll be gathering signatures to get reproductive freedom on the ballot in November. Because when women work together, we win. Women across America are stepping up and saying ENOUGH. We've had enough of men trying to control our bodies. We've had enough book bans. We've had enough of our kids being afraid of school shootings. We've had enough of division and hate. When you've had enough, too, come join us. You'll be surprised at how much power you already have once you learn how to wield it.

Tava Mountain Trouble -- Southern Colorado

We are an experienced team of organizers with leadership in multiple locales around Colorado Springs and beyond. We chose the original name Tava Mountain (aka Pikes Peak) as an act of decolonization to honor and make visible the indigenous peoples of this region. Our goal is to be a hub of issues education and voter empowerment as we stand strong in the face of extremism in Southern Colorado. If you live in Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Cascade, Manitou Springs, Monument, Pueblo, and even Canon City or Penrose this group is for you. Small groups may choose meet in different locales around the region, but this is a Mother Group which can provide leadership and education as needed. We will work to have collective gatherings in person (and on Zoom when needed) for inspiration and support. We are excited about the possibilities for our region!
