Our local group brings together people with shared values to support democracy at all levels. We open communication on key social issues affecting our communities. We offer a welcoming space for women to meet, discuss concerns, and take action. Our goal is to create an active and involved community.

Oxford Outsiders
The Oxford Outsiders are women who are interested in making change in our town by organizing, gathering, discussing and advocating for a better town that is responsive to the issues that matter to us. Oxford Village and Township are traditionally controlled and managed by the "Old Guard" of people that have been in their positions of power for ages. The Oxford outsiders are "troublemakers" that challenge the status quo. We do this by being watchdogs of the councils, commissions, boards, and elected officials that represent us. We also have fun, providing a space for concerned women to gather to vent commiserate, share, socialize and challenge each other to make a difference in our community.

A local, nonpartisan group bringing together like-minded women who care about community and democracy. A space for discussion, education, and action on current issues, where facts matter, DEIA is the norm, seriousness mixes freely with wine, and everyone is welcome (provided they respect others' rights). Required: curiosity, humor and compassion.
