Wake Public School Advocates

Join public school advocates in Wake County to collaborate on support for public schools. Currently we attend school board meetings and follow school board work sessions. We work in collaboration with pro-public school groups and individuals to inform our local school board about issues that are of concern to students, families and citizens in our county. We are nonpartisan, but support candidates who are public school advocates and advocate for legislation that will positively impact public schools. Training is encouraged for effective advocacy. We are fortunate to have many public school advocacy groups in our county who have training and resources. Connecting with members within these groups makes our impact stronger. Red Wine & Blue: Pennsylvania

We are a sisterhood working to change the world together, one suburb at a time. Red Wine & Blue provides everything women need to successfully organize in their communities and beyond. Want to get stuff done and have fun along the way? Join us. www.facebook.com/groups/redwinebluepennsylvania Suburban women are busy as hell. We do not believe you have to be a political activist to do your part. We believe in meeting you where you are and then moving where we want to go together. We are more than just a Facebook group and have organizers on the ground in Pennsylvania to work with you! Contact us at [email protected] Sherry, Program Director Amanda, Deputy Director

NEPA No Party Revolution

NEPA No Party Revolution is a grassroots movement for those who are done with division and ready to rise above the noise. Political affiliation doesn't matter here - what matters is coming together to stand against extremism, corruption, and the forces tearing our communities apart. Whether you've felt abandoned by both parties, disillusioned by the current administration, or are a former MAGA supporter looking for a new path forward, you're welcome here. We believe in unity, truth, and everyday people reclaiming their power together. Our goal is to plant seeds of truth, awareness, and compassion to awaken those still asleep and inspire a new kind of civic engagement rooted in unity, not fear. Together we're reclaiming our power and rebuilding our communities from the ground up. The biggest threat to extremism is unity - because when we come together, their power starts to crumble. We're taking a different approach - putting community before politics. Let's be honest, those still deep in the MAGA mindset are unlikely to show up to an openly anti-MAGA event. But they're the ones who most need to be reminded of what's at stake. That's why our strategy is about planting seeds, not picking fights. Arguing gets us nowhere and only gives them a reason to project. This isn't about proving who's right (clearly, we know what's up) - it's about saving democracy and securing a future for our children. Make sure to check out the discussion post and resource section! The discussion posts are a great way to connect, share ideas, and come together in unity. The resource section contains information, tips, and tricks that are useful in the fight against extremism.

Reading the Resistance

Welcome to Reading the Resistance, a local group dedicated to fostering meaningful change and empowering individuals who want to actively resist the harmful impacts of the Trump administration. Through a combination of decompression events, book discussions, and educational resources, we aim to create a supportive space where like-minded individuals can come together to learn, share, and take action. Our book club will focus on reading and discussing books from the banned book list, exploring themes of freedom, justice, and resistance. By reading these essential works, we encourage critical thinking, open dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the values we must protect. In addition to our book club, we will provide resources to help members stay informed and get involved in local activism. We'll share information on local representatives, provide strategies for effective advocacy, and discuss ways to take action in our communities to resist injustice and oppression. Join us as we stand together, read critically, and fight for the future we believe in.
