Oxford Outsiders
The Oxford Outsiders are women who are interested in making change in our town by organizing, gathering, discussing and advocating for a better town that is responsive to the issues that matter to us. Oxford Village and Township are traditionally controlled and managed by the "Old Guard" of people that have been in their positions of power for ages. The Oxford outsiders are "troublemakers" that challenge the status quo. We do this by being watchdogs of the councils, commissions, boards, and elected officials that represent us. We also have fun, providing a space for concerned women to gather to vent commiserate, share, socialize and challenge each other to make a difference in our community.

Hampton Roads (HR) Boss Babes
Hampton Roads Boss Babes is a powerhouse community for women in Hampton Roads who are small business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs, navigating the unique challenges of the economy and “momonomics.” We recognize that economic policies, childcare costs, healthcare access, and workplace equity directly impact women’s ability to thrive in business. That’s why we’re not just here to network—we’re here to advocate, educate, and take action. As part of Troublenation with Red Wine & Blue, our mission extends beyond business—we’re amplifying women’s voices in the political space. We believe that small business success is tied to policies on fair wages, parental leave, affordable childcare, and economic justice. This group is a space to discuss how these issues affect us and to mobilize for change, ensuring that women entrepreneurs are heard at every level. Whether you’re scaling your business or just starting out, Hampton Roads Boss Babes offers a supportive space to connect, strategize, and push for policies that work for women, not against them. Join us as we build businesses, empower each other, and take political action to create an economy that truly supports women entrepreneurs!

Forest City WineOs
Because protecting democracy is more fun with friends. Looking to be a part of a like-minded community of troublemakers, trying to figure out how to do more to irradicate extremism, looking to be a part of a like-minded community of troublemakers, already in an advocacy group, do or don't like to drink wine? You're going to want to be a part of this TroubleNation group! Forest City WineOs will help you find other members in this community (Winnebago County and surrounding) who share your frustration with the rise of extremism here. Yes - it does exist in Illinois! Even if you feel alone where you live, we guarantee you are not! We can be the place to bring all the Troublemakers in our community together. And guess what - it will be fun! Because tyanny hates joy! I am what's called an "organizer" and organizing on a local level can be very rewarding. Red Wine& Blue created the TN program for sharing tools and support to get me (or you) started (no cost). Here are some of the hightlights of this page: Dedicated group landing page where you'll see events and petitions, member communication, resource links, and generate sign up and advocacy links to share on social media - all in one spot. A clickable map: Where our national audience can search the RWB network by city/state or zip code. There are currently over 700 local groups across the Nation. This one is the first in Illinoise (I think, because there could be "unlisted" groups which are by invite only (We CAN do that later). Exclusive, turnkey content: How-to guides, Freedom to Parent 21st Century Kids, Banned Bookmobile, virtual trainings, guest speakers (usually virtual, but we can do local speakers too!) and more. As I get familiar with them all I will share. A lot for organizers and check out "Resources" for members too. Social Women want to make connections and build relationships with other women in their community. We want a place to laugh, complain freely about politics, drink wine or other fav beverages (I love juicing), and share our lives. Members don't necessarily identify as "activists" and may not want to attend formally structured meetings. They want to become informed, share their experiences in a social setting, and feel supported. Safe Women want to engage and learn in a judgment-free setting where there are no stupid questions, and no one feels intimidated. Whether you've been active all of your life, never even thought about politics before, or are realizing that you don't agree with the political beliefs of some family and friends, you can join the party here. This party is "come as you are" so we can all help change the future. Action - oriented Women want to DO something to create change. Engagement should be more than just informational; it should provide a way to taking action. There's no one right way to engage, but making a difference is the point! Sign up/join and I recommend choosing "get all communications" for now. You can change it later. I try to group the emails with things that are happening in the very near future, so...like a week's worth. I will not posts too far in advnace to support keeping spies, trolls and other possible sociopaths away. For local events, locations will not be given until shortly before the start. P.S. I broke up with Meta (Facebook), so I can be found: here, of course, (I believe there's a contact button), on Bluesky (@uujerri.bsky.social) and Signal. Or you may already have contact info for me. Use it. TN is a 501(c)4.
