Pink Wave Action

Born from a groundswell of women from the greater Stamford area who march and rally for equal rights, Pink Wave Action is emerging as a leader in grassroots organizing in our Stamford, Connecticut community and beyond. https://pinkwave.org/ Our mission is to support the equitable safety and well-being of women, girls and gender non-conforming people through community organizing, projects and activities. We aim to break down systemic barriers to inclusive and equitable healthcare, education, and leadership so that all people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Pink Wave Action is proud to partner with Red Wine & Blue as a local member of TroubleNation. Some organizers of Pink Wave Action also founded The S.W.A.T. Team - Suburban Women Against Trump - leading up to the 2020 elections: https://tinyurl.com/SWATfordemocracy

Bonfire - Loudoun County, VA

Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue’s Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The Red Wine & Blue Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center. Bonfire – Loudoun County meets monthly at local libraries. We have scheduled regular monthly meetings that build connection, community and relationships while providing opportunities to learn and give back together. Our members are also actively planning regular events outside of our monthly gatherings — from hikes, to museum visits, to volunteering with organizations in our community.

North Shore Progressive WAVE

Welcome to North Shore Progressive WAVE: Women’s Action, Voice & Engagement Our pillars: 1. Connection We believe strong local relationships are a powerful defense against authoritarianism and source of resilience. This group will prioritize joy, friendship, and meaningful connection through regular social gatherings and community-building. 2. Progressive Action, Local and National Local Engagement: We’ll stay informed and active in our towns and neighborhoods, protecting our shared values through civic involvement and community organizing. National Solidarity: We’ll stay connected to national progressive movements and take coordinated action on broader issues that align with our mission. 3. Mutual Aid We’re committed to building a community where women can show up for each other and our neighbors. Through informal and formal acts of support, we’ll help meet real needs in our communities and make it easier to ask for help when it matters most. Please join us for monthly in person meetings to foster community and help fulfill mutual aid needs as they come up.
