LOVERS BV is now StandOut BV - In our small mountain town of Buena Vista (BV), a group of people gathered in March 2025 to express their thoughts and opinions about what was happening nationally and we have continued and grown in our activism. Welcome to StandOut BV, open to anyone in our beautiful Chaffee County and whoever visits here also. We come from all kinds of backgrounds and ages. We are standing up for our values: democracy, decency, compassion, community. We want to be more active within our community, especially during these times when our voices and actions mean so much to the future of our area, from public lands to elected officials. Bonfire - Loudoun County, VA
Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue’s Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The Red Wine & Blue Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center. Bonfire – Loudoun County meets monthly at local libraries. We have scheduled regular monthly meetings that build connection, community and relationships while providing opportunities to learn and give back together. Our members are also actively planning regular events outside of our monthly gatherings — from hikes, to museum visits, to volunteering with organizations in our community.

We are a group of volunteers who write postcards for political candidates in the Twin Cities' west and southwest metro area and beyond. Our candidates support policies that protect and build a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive Minnesota and country. We don't like labels, but if you've ever been called a liberal, progressive, lefty, etc., you're our kind of people. Write on!
