Please introduce your selves. I am Dorcas. I live in Timbergrove and am an active activist against the state takeover of HISD, as well as against censorship and in support of libraries generally. I have not before been active in other elections - but this one looks to be mighty important! Where are you? What brings you to this group?

Welcome to Action Advocates! Here it is, 2025. Yes, we are not where we wanted to be, but that just means we have a lot of work ahead of us. Stay tuned to this page as we realign ourselves and get ready to continue our fight for Democracy! Check back often as we don't want to contribute to your email flood! In the meantime, if you want to start making good trouble right away, we like the free app '5 Calls'. Once you enter your location, you are presented with a laundry list of issues. You decide which ones you want to act on, the app will give more information on the issue and then will determine the appropriate people to contact. It will provide you with direct link phone number and even a sample script that you can use or modify. We love it! (Remember to leave contact information to your representatives if you leave a voice mail so your opinion is tallied!) There you are! Now go make some 'good trouble!'

Concerned Women of Lincoln County, NC
Concerned Women of Lincoln County (CWLC) is a group of women that strives to build an ongoing coalition of progressive women and allies that is representative of all residents of Lincoln County. Our goal is to empower citizens to build a strong community that supports the rights of all people. This directly affects our lives and those of our children. Through education, volunteerism and activism, we will work to mobilize the electorate to understand what is at stake in the current political arena. It is imperative that we support those political candidates that reflect the following family values: •Excellence in public education where learning is factual and unbiased •Freedom to practice religion according to one’s personal choice •Healthcare and reproductive decisions remain private between patient and physician, not under government control •Gun safety and prevention of violence •Protection of voting rights and human rights Our member-led initiatives offer educational forums that combat misinformation and support fully funded public schools, women’s health and reproductive freedom, common sense gun safety laws and voting and human rights. We believe that women are at the core of building strong communities. Our organization will create a progressive alliance that supports Lincoln County residents.

A Mid-Michigan group connecting local people, working together to protect Democracy on the local, state and National levels. We are a local political action group based in the Firelands District of north central Ohio. The intent of this group is to monitor and resist legislation and politicians who do not further progressive ideals. Our members are committed to working together peacefully and respectfully to advance these progressive ideals through community action, persistent resistance, and the democratic process. We model our actions on the values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness. We do not require members to adhere to a set agenda.
