LOVERS BV is now StandOut BV - In our small mountain town of Buena Vista (BV), a group of people gathered in March 2025 to express their thoughts and opinions about what was happening nationally and we have continued and grown in our activism. Welcome to StandOut BV, open to anyone in our beautiful Chaffee County and whoever visits here also. We come from all kinds of backgrounds and ages. We are standing up for our values: democracy, decency, compassion, community. Created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue’s TroubleNation, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. TroubleNation provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center.
