Our candidates support policies that protect and build a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive Minnesota and country. Born from a groundswell of women from the greater Stamford area who march and rally for equal rights, Pink Wave Action is emerging as a leader in grassroots organizing in our Stamford, Connecticut community and beyond. https://pinkwave.org/ Our mission is to support the equitable safety and well-being of women, girls and gender non-conforming people through community organizing, projects and activities. We aim to break down systemic barriers to inclusive and equitable healthcare, education, and leadership so that all people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with Red Wine & Blue’s TroubleNation, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. TroubleNation provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center. Bonfire – Loudoun County meets monthly at local libraries. We have scheduled regular monthly meetings that build connection, community and relationships while providing opportunities to learn and give back together. Our members are also actively planning regular events outside of our monthly gatherings — from hikes, to museum visits, to volunteering with organizations in our community.
