Welcome to North Shore Progressive WAVE: Women’s Action, Voice & Engagement Our pillars: 1. Connection We believe strong local relationships are a powerful defense against authoritarianism and source of resilience. This group will prioritize joy, friendship, and meaningful connection through regular social gatherings and community-building. 2. Progressive Action, Local and National Local Engagement: We’ll stay informed and active in our towns and neighborhoods, protecting our shared values through civic involvement and community organizing. National Solidarity: We’ll stay connected to national progressive movements and take coordinated action on broader issues that align with our mission. 3. Mutual Aid We’re committed to building a community where women can show up for each other and our neighbors. Through informal and formal acts of support, we’ll help meet real needs in our communities and make it easier to ask for help when it matters most. Please join us for monthly in person meetings to foster community and help fulfill mutual aid needs as they come up.

Bad Little Good Troublemakers in Machias, Maine is a TroubleNation group whose intention is to • gather like-minded folks • foster friendship and connection • support one another through these times • find positive ways of taking action with other local activists to preserve democracy at the local, state and national levels • bring much-needed fun, hope and joy into the equation! If you’ve been feeling unsettled, heartbroken, or overwhelmed by what’s happening in our country - you’re not alone. Many of us are carrying the same quiet question: What can I actually do? This is an invitation for women and men who feel that pull - not toward outrage, but toward connection and positive action. We’re a group of people who want to come together, support one another and channel our concern into something meaningful. No prior experience required. No perfection expected. Just a willingness to show up, listen, and take small, intentional steps alongside others who care. This space is for you if you: ● feel the weight of this moment and don’t want to carry it alone ● believe community is a form of resistance ● want to turn concern into constructive action, together We don’t have all the answers - but we believe that when caring people gather with purpose, something powerful happens.Come as you are.
