Bonfire brings people together in real-world spaces, to grow, learn, and spark change — together, in person. We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. If you are looking for connection and joy, seeking inspiration or have some to share, we have a seat by our fire for you! Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with the Red Wine & Blue Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The RWB Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center.

We are a nonpartisan group in SE MN dedicated to bringing together and supporting women in our community that believe in democracy and the rule of law. We are currently in very turbulent times with daily assaults on life as we know it. We believe diversity strengthens us. We believe the government should protect our people and our lands. We wish to educate ourselves and other with facts, research and science. We Are Trouble will help you find other members in Centre County who share your frustration with the rise of extremism in this community. Yes — they do exist! Even if you feel alone, we guarantee, you are not! And guess what — it will be fun! It's fun to DO something to help create meaningful, lasting change. You don't have to identify as an “activist”, and you don't have to attend formally structured meetings. Hope and Cookies: Defending Democracy One Cookie at a Time
We believe that the best way to defend our democracy is with knowledge, and the best way to help is by providing caring people with information. Hope and Cookies hosts house parties where we share information about Project 2025 and other threats to our freedom. We want to give our members the confidence to talk to their friends and neighbors (or even total strangers) in a way that will make a difference. Come for dessert and leave empowered!
