Welcome to our News Not Noise-Ballard Families for Democracy (BFFD) group! We are a small group of families in NW Seattle/Ballard neighborhood who want to make political engagement accessible and enjoyable for ourselves and neighbors. BFFD Goals: -Strengthen connections in our community -Share trusted sources of information -Engage in local and national democracy All in a way that is accessible to parents & families. We’re here to make staying informed and engaged easier, not overwhelming. Together, we share trustworthy news, have meaningful conversations, and take local action that strengthens our democracy. Our group joined Red Wine & Blue/Trouble Nation because we follow News Not Noise for trusted information without a panic attack. Check out Jessica Yellin and News Not Noise on substack where you can sign up for digestible newsletters. News Not Noise groups bring our community together in person — to connect, share meaningful conversation, and build real relationships with others who value staying informed without the noise.
