Making Good Trouble in York County

We will work to prevent the Republican takeover of democracy as outlined in Project 2025. Trump and his allies and lackeys represent an existential threat to democracy itself, as well as the safety and security of individuals who are in the LGBTQIA community, people of color, people with disabilities, and women of childbearing age.

Centennial For All

We are a growing group of moms, neighbors, and concerned citizens working to get common sense candidates elected to offices up and down the ballot. Join us as we make calls, knock on doors, write postcards, and do what we can do to elect candidates that reflect our values. Join us as we make good trouble!

Team Cannon

“Team Cannon” exists to shed light on local issues affecting the residents of Cannon Township, Kent County, MI. In 2023 alone, the Township Board has hosted an “infomercial” Town Hall by the Kent County Prosecutor disputing Michigan’s majority-passed Proposal 3 regarding reproductive rights, implemented discussion regarding the sale of a public Township Park, mismanaged an ongoing dispute between two businesses and the use of land the Board had given away without a written agreement, replaced the only two female seats on the board with men when the seats became vacant, and publicly bullied and maligned residents asking legitimate questions. Team Cannon’s goal is to see our local government officials working FOR the residents to maintain and improve our community.

Traveling Torch: Digital Nomads for Democracy

The Traveling Torch is a collective of digital nomads and modern adventurers dedicated to protecting and promoting democracy, justice, and freedom. Inspired by the spirit of Good Trouble, we follow in the footsteps of those who have fought for equality and liberty, using our voices, actions, and journeys to challenge injustice and ignite meaningful change. As torchbearers of democratic values, we travel across the nation to engage communities, amplify diverse stories, and build networks of hope and resistance. Wherever the road takes us, we stand united in lighting the way for a brighter, more just future.

Defenders of Democracy

Montanans have a fighting spirit but our low population and large geographical size can make organizing at a state level challenging. Having a "North Star" of communication that people throughout the state can identify and pull information from is what we need. Few of us here have time to reinvent the wheel. We need tools already created, ready to go, and focused on Project 2025. We've been building our communication channels but need tools to communicate on Project 2025 effectively. From what many of us experienced during last night's webinar with Heather Cox Richardson, TroubleNation/Red Wine & Blue is what we've been looking for! On a personal level, I was the 2022 Democratic Candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Montana's 2nd Congressional District, a deeply red district. Through my campaign, we built many communication channels in hardcore red counties. Focusing our communication on Project 2025 is key to moving the needle and breaking through the red strongholds.
