OJR Common Ground — Every Story Matters OJR Common Ground is a nonpartisan, grass-roots organization of concerned citizens. We believe every student in our district should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and feel safe at school. Our mission is simple, to build a stronger, more vibrant community where we find the common ground on the issues that matter most. We believe in working across political divides and fostering collaboration because, in the end, we are all neighbors, friends, and families with a shared interest in making our community stronger. We Go High - Orange County, CA
We have more than just the members listed here! Our group was started before we joined Trouble Nation. We are a small group that meets via Zoom for one (1) hour bi-weekly. Most members are in Southern California, but everyone is welcome since we meet virtually! We are here to support one another, fight for our democracy, and create meaningful connections. We meet bi-weekly via Zoom on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. (PT). On our calls, we discuss all the ways we can help save our democracy, and many of us attend protests and rallies together. Recently, a few of us rode the Metro train from Irvine to Los Angeles to attend the Fighting Oligarchy Tour with Berine and AOC. We are stronger in numbers and when we are together!
