Boise Resists

Join Boise Resists to build community, become supports for one another, organize to fix local problems, and RESIST the troubling trends we are seeing in our government. We know that we can't save the world, but we can all do our little part. By organizing, and choosing a few issues to work on, we can make a meaningful impact! Our local group connects like-minded people in our community who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy on the local, state and national levels. As our membership grows, we will decide together where to focus our energies and talents.

Moms United for Democracy (aka MamaBears)

Welcome! We are a group in York, PA and surrounding areas of moms and non-binary parents of kids K-12+ advocating for democratic values, inclusivity, and equity in our communities for a safer and healthier future for all children and all communities. We actively resist the spread of white supremacy, nationalism, and disinformation. We choose the path of compassion and justice over hate, division, and fear. We advocate for those on the margins and use relational organizing to support and protect our kids and communities. Firmly grounded in collaboration and mutuality, we educate each other and our families to resource ourselves and each other.

Strong Women, Strong Coffee

Welcome to Strong Women, Strong Coffee, where passionate and determined women gather once a month (2nd Saturday mornings at 9AM) to engage in meaningful conversations over a warm cup of coffee. We meet at Saint Luke Episcopal Church, 209 S Market Street, Mount Joy. In an era where our democracy faces pressing challenges, we share our hopes, fears, and tangible actions that can help us rescue, recover, and rebuild the values we hold dear. Our meetings provide a safe and casual atmosphere, encouraging open dialogue and fostering connection among women who share a common concern about the authoritarian path our nation is on. While we occasionally invite guest speakers to enrich our discussions, the heart of our group lies in our sisterhood and solidarity. Men may be invited under special circumstances, but please understand that this is a space created by and for women to express ourselves and support one another without male influence (which surely is valuable in other settings). Together, we brainstorm strategies, share insights, and empower each other as we navigate the complexities of our political landscape. Join us as we brew strong coffee and cultivate even stronger voices for democracy!

The Bridges

The Bridges brings people together across the Space Coast of Florida, where over half a dozen bridges connect our barrier islands to the mainland. So too, our group will dedicate itself to being a bridge in this divided county, bringing together likeminded community members to share, inspire and learn how to effectively connect with friends and neighbors across the political spectrum to find commonality, reduce friction, and return sanity to our local, state and national politics.
