Welcome! We are a group in York, PA and surrounding areas of moms and non-binary parents of kids K-12+ advocating for democratic values, inclusivity, and equity in our communities for a safer and healthier future for all children and all communities. We actively resist the spread of white supremacy, nationalism, and disinformation. We choose the path of compassion and justice over hate, division, and fear. We advocate for those on the margins and use relational organizing to support and protect our kids and communities. Firmly grounded in collaboration and mutuality, we educate each other and our families to resource ourselves and each other.

We’re building community right in your backyard, with events and gatherings that offer opportunities for personal, professional, and political engagement and fulfillment. Bonfire was created for women of all ages and backgrounds, but is not exclusive to women. Created in partnership with the Red Wine & Blue Network, Bonfire groups are local communities led by volunteer organizers who want to bring people together where they live. The RWB Network provides the tools, training, and support to help these groups grow and thrive — while keeping community building at the center.
