New Yorkers Unite for Democracy
Our group will come together to take actions both locally and in nearby swing state Pennsylvania to help save our country from Fascism and dictatorship. This will include such activities as an education session about Project 2025, an education session about banned books, screening "Bad Faith" and discussing it, using Rally Your Squad and getting others to participate in it, regular tabling with informational sessions and literature about Project 2025 and other issues (banned books, LGBTQ+ issues, public education issues, and more), organizing to drive people to the polls, and more!

Triad Actioneers - Greater Triad Area NC
Our local group will connect people ready for action in our community who want to work with others to protect democracy on the local, state, and national levels. This Team will meet monthly to discuss relevant topics, share actions needed immediately, and rally our troops to take action. We welcome people to champion an issue, inform the group on it, and plan action for it. As interest grows in the Triad, we will host even larger gatherings to share information and most importantly, share ACTIONS needed to protect our local, state, and national democracy. With numerous battles being fought regarding topics important to human rights throughout the state of NC, Triad Actioneers formed in the Spring of 2023 to offer a central location for information sharing. Our members found it difficult to keep up with all of the information on each of the important topics. We now team up with other community groups to know how and when to take action for greater impact regarding a hot topic. To alleviate frustration and develop action that will make a positive change, a champion will bring current information and specific needed actions to each meeting regarding the following topics: Education School Budget School Vouchers BOE Updates Freedom to Parent Trans Initiatives Reproductive Health ...any other relevant topic that is key to defending democracy. Downtown Nasty Women Social Group
We are a grassroots activist group, established in NYC in the aftermath of the 2016 election, dedicated to increasing voter participation, electing Democrats nationwide, and shifting the balance of power to improve lives. Our activist efforts include GOTV initiatives, fundraising, hosting elected officials, partnering with activist groups on weekly zoom calls, postcard writing, canvassing, phone banking, and other electoral and issue-based organizing. We send out a weekly newsletter to over 1400 people nationwide, featuring facts, actions, meeting alerts and information about national and NY policy/politics.
