We are a group of Gaston County residence that meet monthly to support each other, build community, learn how to affectively participate in conversations, and take action steps on the political trends we are concerned with. Four Rivers Progressive Coalition exists to Organize, Educate, and Advocate for progressive issues and policies, inspiring others in the region to become more informed and involved. Oyster River Rise
Our local group connects like-minded people in our community who want to work with others who share their values to protect democracy on the local, state and national levels. SOUP & CIDER, SUN., NOV. 16, 1-3 PM It's been a slow start for ORR this fall, but the organizers of the group have been active-- learning about, talking to, and working with so many other state and local groups who are doing amazing work. We're excited by everything going on and the many ways there are to get involved! We finally have a date of Sunday, November 16, 1-3 PM for our get together! For the first hour, we'll just enjoy soup and cider, hang out, and catch up a bit. Then we'll talk about the coming year, and what ORR will be doing. We'll also have guests from other local groups talk about what they're going to be doing and how you can get involved. Event details and RSVP are below. We look forward to seeing you then!
