Sarah Harris Was Here

Our group intends to organize locally and bring together community members frustrated with the rise and general acceptance of extremism. The vision is a community action group which will impact the political landscape where we live. We will start with pressing issues we notice immediately in our community, and as we grow, so will our reach! We are a non-partisan group and anyone hoping to make a better future is welcome to join us. No prior experience is necessary and all ideas for non-violent resistance are welcome.

Turning Fear Into Fight. Women, allies, democracy.

We’re women of North New Jersey. We are deeply concerned about our country, Trumpism, Project 2025. We love our country deeply, we love democracy. 🚨NOTE: This is a support group. We need community, fellowship and friendship to get through this time in our country. A monthly get-together for discussion and support. We will also choose books to read—a democracy book club in addition to a solidarity group of friendship. On-the-ground activism is so important, consider this group a support group addition to whatever activism you’re engaging in. We are not only determined to save America, one person at a time, but make America even better. More equal, prosperous, social and economic justice for all.

GRIT

Welcome to G.R.I.T. Greater Rochester Integrity & Truth. A Community for Democracy. OUR NAME Stands for a variety of words, heralded by the determination and grit we'll need to protect democracy. ABOUT US Our grassroots group connects like-minded people in the Greater Rochester, NY community who want to work with others to protect our democracy on the local, state and national levels. WHO WE ARE We are everyday people from all backgrounds, of all ages and all persuasions with the same resolve to make America greater than we've been. An America for ALL the people, by the people. OUR MISSION 1. Support Community. A safe space where we can… sort through disinformation together, navigate how to have fact-based conversations with others, and shed our feelings of helplessness and outrage. A place where we are shored up just in knowing that we're not alone. 2. Seek Knowledge. To better understand this political landscape, we share fact-based information and resources and host a variety of smart speakers. 3. Take Action. Sometimes small, sometimes big. From postcards and canvassing to calls and protests—and everything in between. HOW DO WE CONNECT We meet in person for real conversations and actions every other Monday in Fairport Village. Our best and primary form of communication is via a blind email list that we do not share. PLEASE MESSAGE US WITH YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WANT TO BE ADDED. You can also find us on these platforms: FaceBook — https://www.facebook.com/groups/1261259318375662 BlueSky — @grit-roc.bsky.social Red, Wine & Blue — https://redwineblue.controlshift.app/groups/grit We are an independent group but also part of Red, Wine & Blue's grassroots Trouble Nation community so we have access to workshops and tools to help us in our efforts.

Louisville Good Trouble

Louisville Good Trouble will be focused on informing people about the dangers in the content of the project 2025 document. We also aim on urging citizens to check their registration for voting and to get out and vote. We hope to have lots of actionable things we can do to move these objectives forward.

CO Public Education Good Trouble Team

Howdy, Colorado! This is a nonpartisan and multi-partisan group that brings together people and groups around Colorado who support public education. We work together in many different ways - depending on our own needs, talent and time. We grew out of an informal group of grassroots people from communities around Colorado who have been working together for the past year (and more) - not just Denver and the Front Range. Some of us align with a specific political party and others don't. Some people in our network have established groups for their school district already. Others are just 1 or 2 people who want to make an impact but think they are alone! We help our fellow grassroots community members and groups learn about and understand the complex issues related to school boards, districts, and public education so they can TAKE ACTION, whether that's a simple as being an informed voter, or organizing in their community. Our superpowers: Communication. Connections. Community. And Cross-Pollination. Members of our group share a commitment to public education that is effective, accountable, and inclusive. This includes a focus on elected and employed leaders, and their vendors, who demonstrate a commitment to leading with integrity, transparency and respect for the common good. To quote one of our community members: We work in the cracks. We collaborate to share strategy AND tactics related to far-right extremist attacks on public education. This includes reaching out to national resources on behalf of others in Colorado. We also deploy our network to help others rapidly scale up as grassroots efforts come together. We embrace the many different lanes where our community members, friends, and colleagues work. After all, it takes a village! ICYMI: Members of our group also lead the launch of Colorado State Caucus for Democracy and Education. Reporter and education writer Karin Chenoweth founded Democracy and Education in the fall of 2022. Since then, it has grown to include a vibrant group of school board members, former members, candidates, and people involved in school board campaigns from all over the country, many of whom have successfully faced down extremist threats.
