Ottawa County Voices (MI)

Ottawa County Voices connects local people who share values and want to protect democracy at local, state and national levels. We're re-grouping for 2025, based on the most important issues facing us. There are municipal elections, state issues, and national matters that need our voices. If you want to make a difference in a way that's a good fit for your time, talents, and interests -- no matter where you live --- join Ottawa County Voices, and work on the issues you care about! We are a non-partisan educational group. Our goal is to help our members have good conversations with others about the important issues facing Ottawa County, Michigan and the USA. Here's what we did in 2024: 1) Restore good governance, transparency and fiscal responsibility to Ottawa County. 2) Encourage everyone to vote on November 5. 3) Explain how Project 2025 would affect you at the local, state and federal levels. We helped people sort through many issues in 2024. We posted resources here every week or so, to understand what we see and read, and help us talk with others about it. We’re not a PAC. We don’t compete with local groups organized in your districts and communities. We support that work and want to help you do it better. You don't have to live in Ottawa County to join: the issues we care about affect folks everywhere. We give folks: TOOLS to help us speak effectively with friends and family about issues, even if they see things differently. Tools to help us handle disinformation. Tools that encourage people to vote. LINKS that summarize key information, like who's running for what office, or how Project 2025 will impact American women. Links that help us get involved -- a little or a lot - locally. EVENTS that are live, or over Zoom. We meet in different ways, so you can choose.

Stand Up Now (SUN)
Hello, We are a new group, ready to Stand Up Now (SUN) to take action to preserve those values , beliefs and institutions we value. Our goal is to help us all get through the next 4 years through support, sharing of information, events and strategies to engage. We are a safe place to scream, rant, be sad, but also to celebrate our successes and good things in our lives. We will be attending the march on April 5th. Our third meeting will be on Sunday, April 6th 4pm-6pm (please see events and RSVP) to share ideas to make a difference. Thank you and looking forward to Standing up Now Laurie

Welcome to ReVolusia! Please join us to RSVP for one of our upcoming monthly meetings! Our group is open to everyone, and there are no membership dues. ReVolusia is a grassroots volunteer organization based in Volusia County, Florida, focused on advancing democracy, equality, and justice. We work to empower local citizens to take action on important issues like public education, voting rights, and human rights. A Collective Voice for Unity and Progress We are a group of citizens dedicated to nurturing a culture of belonging in Isabella County. We are united in our belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and empowered. Through our collective efforts, we seek to: COMBAT EXTREMISM by actively opposing harmful ideologies and partnering with our neighbors to promote tolerance and understanding. CHAMPION INCLUSIVITY by advocating for policies and legislation that ensure all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. SUPPORT PUBLIC EDUCATION by celebrating the vital role of public schools in nurturing informed and engaged citizens.
