April 8th LKN Troublemakers Meeting

Mark your calendars for our April 8th meeting! We’ve lined up two incredible speakers who will help us better understand what’s happening in our communities — and what we can actually do about it.
Penny Aronson
Executive Director, The Community Free Clinic (Concord)
Penny will break down what we need to know about today’s public health and healthcare landscape — including how free clinics are stepping in to support families across our region.
She’ll also guide us through a short poverty healthcare simulation that brings these challenges into sharp focus.
Anne Mautner
Founder & Executive Director, The Kindness Closet
Anne is leading powerful work across North Carolina to address hygiene insecurity... an often overlooked but very real barrier to health, dignity, and stability. She’ll share how The Kindness Closet is making an impact and how we can help advance practical solutions in our own community.
(Check out this inspiring video about The Kindness Closet... it's sure to move your heart!)
If you’ve been wanting to get more involved, this is a great meeting to jump in. Expect good energy, important updates and real ways to make an impact together. We can’t wait to see you there!
Please RSVP. Space is limited! Let's make some good trouble together.
P.S. Please bring donations of boxes of tampons to be distributed by The Kindness Closet. Thanks in advance!
