The House has just passed this harmful and costly bill, and it is coming to the Senate soon. Our public schools are already underfunded and cannot afford further cuts, and our country cannot afford more tax giveaways to the wealthy.
Please tell Senate leadership to remove school vouchers from the reconciliation budget.

Why is this important?
The House of Representatives just passed a taxpayer-funded school voucher bill that will cut billions from our public schools. Instead of investing in public education, the Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA) will give tax breaks to billionaires and corporations to fund private school tuition. This has already happened in Texas, we can help stop even more cuts to our schools at the national level.
This would mean bigger class sizes, program cuts, and even closings of schools. Children with disabilities won't get the services they need, and private schools can turn them away.
