Join NOVA Blue Squad for an eye-opening lecture by Judy Waxman, Vice President of Health and Reproductive Rights at the National Women's Law Center, who will trace the long arc of women's fertility and reproductive rights — from ancient methods and laws to the allies and opponents women have faced across centuries — all to help us make sense of where we stand in the U.S. right now. Understanding how we got here is the key to understanding what's next, and how we move forward together.

 Judy Waxman brings decades of expertise to this conversation, including her prior roles as Deputy Executive Director at Families USA, Managing Attorney at the National Health Law Program, adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, and attorney for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She holds a law degree from American University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami.
