We're Meeting for Lunch!

Happy New Year!

Are you ready for all the unexpected, expected, and otherwise crazy things we're about to live through?  Yikes. 

We're starting off the year with an in person lunch.  We'll try to do this once a month, moving around so the drive isn't too bad for everyone each time.

This year we'll be working in coalitions to increase our presence and be more impactful.  Public School Strong, and Southern Christian Coalition are the first two we've talked with and they're excited to join together.  Discussing how we want to engage will be our order of business discussion at lunch.  

The high level plan for this year is to be involved and 'do something'.  Some of the recommended best practices are to work in coalitions, educate ourselves, focus on what is most important to us, and then go for it.  And, every group I'm involved in stresses to have fun!  

So let's get together, have a good lunch, and make plans.
