“We Love Democracy” 2026 Kickoff Get-Together

In recognition of Valentine's Day and to kick off the new year, please join Orange County Good Trouble for our "We Love Democracy" member social! 

Drop in whenever you’d like to. We’ll have a short talk at noon to introduce our organizers and open up the floor to your hopes and desired action items for the year ahead. 

Let’s get to know one another, make plans for the year, browse books, and support the community.

If you can, please bring an item for the shop’s neighborhood food pantry. It’s a no-questions-asked, take-what-you-need food pantry, set up to meet the immediate needs of community members by Liz, the owner, a high school teacher. 

Specially requested items are:

If the parking lot in front is full, look for additional parking on the street or along the perimeter of Pearson Park. You can also park in the guest parking at the Lex CTR City Apartments, according to one of our members who lives there.

We hope to see you there and encourage you to bring a likeminded friend!  We love democracy–let’s get out there and save it!
