Help drive in calls to the Senate to protect clean water funding! ✊ We'll be calling Food & Water Watch supporters in states with senators who we think can be pressured to make the right choice and protect critical water funding.
☎️ No experience necessary! Those new to our phone banking tool will be trained at the beginning of our call. If you're experienced, you can start dialing right away. Staff will be available on the call for two hours to answer questions and help out.
Agenda:
- We'll start with 20-30 minutes of introduction and training. If you are an experienced Food & Water phone banker, you can get started with your calls sooner.
- Then we'll spend about an hour making phone calls. Staff will be available for questions, and at the end we'll debrief about how the calls went.
What is the Annual Spending Bill?
This annual bill is required and must get at least 60 votes in the Senate to pass, meaning that Senate Democrats can form a united front to keep funding for essential services like clean water!

Hi - I support funding for clean water programs and I know you do too. I called my Senators, can you call today?
Our U.S. Senators need to know that we want them to protect funding for safe drinking water. Dial this number and you’ll be patched through. If you call a second time, you’ll get patched to your other Senator.
When you reach the office, say your name and your city so they know you're a constituent and then urge them to oppose the spending bill that will make drastic cuts to drinking water funding and weaken the EPA's ability to label pesticide. Let me know how it goes!
