There's so much going on downtown this Saturday. If you head into the District, I strongly recommend making time to also visiting the ACLU's Pride Kickoff event, the unveiling of the Freedom to Be Monument, and art installation that is a powerful and living testament to trans resilience and joy. That will be on the National Mall between 4th and 7th Streets.
Bonus: In Columbus Circle, across from Union Station, all day, every day, you'll find the MayDay encampment. They're holding a Kidzapalooza event from 2-5pm on Saturday. This is a space intended for folks to feel free to come and linger, explore different ways to get in touch with the movement for Trump's removal from office. There's art, music, book clubs, petitions, so much more. An impressive and growing set up!
