Stacy Abrams Watch Party

Let's get together for a "Watch Party Happy Hour" 4:20 pm next Thursday at Linda's house to watch Stacy Abrams as she joins Red Wine and Blue to discuss voting rights and the upcoming election .  We can watch the on-line event together, enjoy a glass of  RED wine and discuss what actions we might want to take together to protect our voting rights.  Feel free to bring your drink of choice (I'll have red wine and lemonade here)  and a snack to share.

In less than 100 days, we have the opportunity to reclaim power from the people who have been taking away women’s rights, attacking the LGBTQ+ community, and terrorizing immigrants for the past two years. And they know it.

 

That’s why extremists in Congress are still trying to pass the SAVE Act voter suppression bill – even if it means forcing it through with legislative tricks. Just last week, the House of Representatives snuck the SAVE Act into a budget bill. The plan would give billions of dollars to states to enact voter suppression laws, including proof-of-citizenship requirements that millions of us can’t meet.
