About the Event: 

"in this political moment, it is more important than ever for our communities to be informed, prepared, and ready to share critical information with others. This session is designed for community leaders, organizers, volunteers, allies, and anyone who wants to help bring Know Your Rights information back to their families, neighbors, workplaces, schools, congregations, and local communities.

During this Learning Hour, we will cover: 1. Key Know Your Rights information for immigrant communities 2. How to explain rights clearly and confidently 3. What to do during encounters with ICE or law enforcement 4. How to support families in creating safety plans 5. Tips for facilitating a Know Your Rights training in your community 6. Resources and next steps for trainers
