Small Acts, Good Company — A New Local Meet-Up in Lincoln, MA

Hello friends,

I’m writing to invite you to something new and local that I’m starting through Red Wine & Blue / TroubleNation.

Over the past months, I’ve been feeling what many of us are feeling: concern, fatigue, anger, grief—and also a real desire not to face any of it alone. I noticed there wasn’t a local TroubleNation group serving Lincoln, Sudbury, Concord, and Wayland, so I decided to start one. This group is explicitly open to women from all four towns, and neighbors from each are warmly encouraged to join.

Our first gathering will be a casual, in-person meet-up at The Tack Room in Lincoln. The goal is simple: to meet like-minded women from Lincoln, Sudbury, Concord, and Wayland, share a drink or a meal, talk honestly, and begin forming connections that feel steady and sustaining in unsettled times. The Tack Room offers cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, so everyone can settle in comfortably.

This is not a meeting full of speeches, pressure, or overwhelm.

At this first gathering, I’ll also share a few immediate, practical ways to help—small, doable actions that can make a real difference right now. In addition, I hope to meet up to four women who may be interested in joining me in the light organizing of this TroubleNation group going forward. This would be collaborative and shared, with flexible levels of involvement—no prior organizing experience required.

I plan to keep the group intentionally small (around 25–35 people) so it can remain personal and grounded. Think of this as a place to be a balm—to yourself, to one another, and eventually to our wider community.
