 Important update for those who value the Transylvania County Natural Resources Council (TNRC)   

The 9/22 Board of Commissioners meeting agenda just dropped…

They stayed true to their word and made it completely useless. There will be no public hearing about this. They did it in silence, without consulting the council, without consulting their constituents. They mis-characterized and falsified information in their own public forum, even admitted their failure to lead. 

Is this the type of transparency we expect from our elected officials? Other important citizen, advisory, committees, like the transportation committee, agricultural advisory board, and others, are also on the chopping block, subject to the whims of a few powerful and disconnected people.

If you think otherwise, and if you value the TNRC, feel free to drop by at 6 PM on Monday, September 22, and let your elected officials know how you feel.


Let's pack the space to let our County Commissioners know we are watching them.
