Show up to Defy Gerrymandering!
The Republicans in the NCGA are up to no good and trying to win trump yet another seat by gerrymandering our state even more than it already is. They feel politicians should pick their constituents rather than the other way around.
They are pushing these new gerrymandered maps through as quickly and quietly as possible. For that reason, we MUST show up and raise our voices to let the rest of the country know what they are doing. NC is a testing ground for doing this in the rest of the nation.

- 10:00am - Senate Elections Committee - Room 643 LOB - The doors open to this meeting at 9:30 but if you want to get inside you will need to be there much earlier. We are planning on being inside and making noise but NOT getting arrested
- 3:00pm - Senate Gallery - they are expected to vote on the maps at this session. If you are signed up for this action, please be on the 3rd floor of the Legislative Building (the main building along Jones St) no later than 1:45pm.
- Show up by 11:30 on Tuesday-the national news will be there covering this! The more of us that show up, the better.
