SCOUT Summer Picnic Celebration

It's almost July, and this month we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, despite all its faults. SCOUT is going to celebrate our own way with a picnic, and we're also going to make birthday cake kits for local area food pantries. The details below....

Picnic in Diane's Backyard: Bring a side dish to share and your own protein for grilling. We'll have pop and lemonade available as beverages. Your family and/or friends are welcome to join you. Let's celebrate community and our dedication to making this country the country we want it to be for all! (Diane's address will become available once you RSVP for the picnic.)

Birthday Cake Kits Project: While picnicking, we'll also assemble birthday cake kits. Just because a family is using a food pantry doesn't mean they should be denied a birthday cake to celebrate! These kits will include box cake mix and a can of pop, frosting, and of course birthday candles.
