Saturday Walk / March / Rally - PRIDE & NO KINGS

2 events are happening:

1. The No Kings protest/rally. 12:00-2:00PM. The original location was the mini-park downtown, but the website now shows 250 Jackson Street (near The Bentley and The Tasting Room of LA). Website: https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/789197/

2. The CENLA PRIDE walk. 12:00PM. Meet near Tamp & Grind Coffee to walk through downtown Alexandria with signs and banners. Sign making happening the night before - 6:00PM at the Riverfront Center. Visit CENLA PRIDE on Facebook for details: https://www.facebook.com/CENLACLASSPRIDE .

The event time is 11:00AM in case anyone wants to meet others from our group before either event. It’s sometimes easier to participate when there is a friendly face. Please feel free to use the event page on Facebook or the corresponding chat to make plans with others. Don’t sit at home feeling alone this Saturday! Even if you choose to stay at the coffee shop instead of participating in either walk/march/rally, at least come commune with like-minded folks for a few minutes. 🫶
