READ IN Speak Out Lobby Day

Calling all Red Wine & Blue Troublemakers! Wherever you are, we hope you will be making good trouble in Raleigh with US on June 17!

RWB will be hosting a Read In, Speak Out! Day where we tell our legislators that their attempts to ban books, erase Black and Brown communities, discriminate against LGBTQIA+ people, and eradicate voting rights WILL NOT STAND.

We are planning a banned book read-in outside of the Legislative Building and then scheduled meetings with our representatives.

No experience with lobbying? No problem! We will have a virtual training session beforehand and pair newbies with seasoned lobbyists. You’ll be an expert in no time!
