Rally at Congressman’s Tim Moore’s Office

From Joel Simpson, former pastor at Mt Zion UMC who is involved with Rev William Barber and other clergy who are leading the resistance of an immoral and cruel trump/GOP agenda:

I'm helping organize Moral Mondays in NC at Congressional District offices across the state, and we're starting in your congressional district with Tim Moore this Monday, July 14th at 11am. Our plan is to gather at the Gastonia office. (I know there's an office in Cornelius, but we're going to try and connect at this office because it is more central for the whole district)

Wanted to share and see if you want to attend. Also, I was wondering if there are any people in your church/community who would be impacted by this budget who might want to share about how this budget will impact them?

We’ll invite impacted to share their stories, clergy will offer some moral grounding, and then at the end ask Congressman Moore to meet with impacted people and hear about why this budget is harmful.
