Prop 50 Postcard Pickup
Let’s write postcards to get the word out on Prop 50! We need to get Democratic voters to the polls to vote YES on Prop 50 in November.
Proposition 50 authorizes the California Legislature to draw new congressional district maps—replacing those created by the independent Citizens Redistricting Commission—for the 2026 through 2030 elections. Prop 50 was drafted in response to Texas Republicans’ adoption of mid-decade redistricting maps favoring their party. California’s Legislature, led by Governor Gavin Newsom, proposed its own map to counterbalance national gerrymandering efforts.
