About the Event: 

"Are you disturbed by the Trump Administration's aggressive, supercharged attacks on immigrant communities? As ICE gears up to further escalate their assaults, it’s up to us to stand together and protect our rights. That’s why we’re excited to invite you to our special Immigration Justice Resistance Lab training session. Congresswoman Jayapal, who was an immigrant rights' organizer before heading to Congress and is currently the top Democrat on the Immigration Subcommittee in Congress, will lead the training along with Kica Matos and Heidi Altman from the National Immigration Law Center (organization listed for identification purposes only). We'll dive into the history of our immigration system, how the administration is using immigration to advance their authoritarian agenda, and where we go from here. We’ll also discuss concrete actions people can take to support immigrant communities and protect our democracy.
