PLEASE RSVP for Working the Lawrence PRIDE Day Event - June 6th

Hello GTLFK!!! We are going to the Lawrence PRIDE Day event in South Park THIS SATURDAY!

CAN YOU JOIN US FOR THIS ACTIVITY? If so, please RSVP to this event ASAP.

We weren't able to secure a tabling location, so we will be walking through the crowd, engaging members of our community, distributing "Vote NO on August 4th" buttons and the colorful zines, and pointing people to the tables which are registering voters.

The parade starts at 11:00 a.m. We will gather at South Park immediately following the parade, around noon. Gail will text all volunteers when an exact location is found to congregate. (Some of us are walking in the parade.). We'll be done as soon as we've passed out all of our materials.

Other recommendations:
1. Carry candy in your pocket to give to children of all ages (with parental permission)
2. Carry dog treats in your pocket to give to dogs (with owners permission)
