Philadelphia Hebrew Public Charter School Food Drive

We will be doing a food drive until December 17th to benefit the Philadelphia Hebrew Public School (PHP).  This school is a free, public charter school located in East Falls serving over 600 students in grades K-7.  Students from 37 zip codes across Philadelphia attend this school.  PHP is a Title I school, with over 40% of their families living below the federal poverty line.  The school has organized this drive due to the recent loss of SNAP benefits affecting many of their families.  To help ease this burden, the school is organizing a donation drive to provide canned foods, non-perishable items and grocery store gift cards.  

Gift cards are requested from Aldi, Fresh Grocer, ShopRite, Target or Walmart.

Donations can be dropped off at Dana's house located at 705 Reading Circle in Phoenixville or a pick up can also arranged by sending an email to [email protected].  We will also collect items at our December dinner event on December 17th.
