Our Country, Our Truth: The Real America Celebrating Independence
The Declaration of Independence was officially signed by most delegates of the Second Continental Congress on August 2, 1776, nearly a month after its adoption on July 4.
Join us on August 2nd, 3-6pm, at Jill's house in Delta, OH (full address given once you RSVP), for a potluck and celebration of our independence. We will provide hamburgers, chips, water, and soda. Feel free to bring a dish to share if you would like.
We will make a banner from pieces of fabric on which we can write slogans that commemorate what American Democracy means to us, for use at future protests, representing the Toledo Troublemakers' commitment to resisting the Trump Presidency. People need to know what progressive groups like ours are doing to preserve and protect American Democracy.
