Organizing the Ground Game in School Board Races (CO Caucus of Democracy & Education)

Are you thinking about running or supporting a local school board race? In Colorado, although our local BOE races are in November of 2025, it's not too early to start thinking and talking with folks about it.  Take advantage of this virtual session about School Board Race Organizing, courtesy of Democracy & Education and the School Board Integrity Project. The Speaker, Kyrstin Schuette, is the founder of the School Board Integrity Project, which recruits and trains school board candidates who adhere to the values of integrity, trust, belonging, excellence, and respect.

Who Participates in Democracy & Education events? We welcome all who are standing up for public education and democracy. 
  • The Zoom link will only be sent to registrants who are vetted by Democracy & Education, or by a subgroup, such as the Colorado Caucus of Democracy & Education.

Democracy and Education holds monthly national calls for its members. The Colorado Caucus for D&E is coordinated by the Pro-Colorado Education Project - and is also accessible to members of the Colorado Public Education Good Trouble Team!

We're still working this out operationally behind the scenes since this is a new collaboration.
  • If you are ALREADY a member of Democracy and Education, you don't need to do anything else besides watch for the Zoom link on the day of the event.
  • If you register and are not yet a member of Democracy and Education, you'll receive a follow-up email with directions about next steps.
