Online book club discussion section 1: America, 1979

For the next few months, NC Humanities will be hosting a book club that uplifts stories from North Carolina. They read a book each month and discuss the topics and themes with the author towards the end of each month. I wanted to follow along, so I will be hosting a virtual discussion on Tuesdays to discuss the topics of these books. The first book is "Morningside: The 1979 Greensboro Massacre and The Struggle For an American City's Soul." Join us virtually to discuss section 1: America: 1979. We will discuss the topics of this chapter and how they apply to North Carolina's culture, its history, and how it affects our lives today.
