No Kings Volunteer Training #2

We the People of Henderson are looking for volunteers to help at the NO KINGS - HENDERSON event on March 28th. We are holding 3 trainings for volunteers. To be a volunteer, you MUST attend at least one of these trainings.

- Locations/Zones for Volunteers
Volunteer roles fall into three categories:
- Safety Marshals/De-escalation Team (Orange Vests): work in pairs and serve as on-the-ground coordinators for crowd safety, participant well-being, and conflict prevention.
- First Aid (Red Vests): provide basic first aid, monitors participant well-being, and coordinators emergency care as needed.
- General Volunteers (Yellow Vests): provide general assistance to our attendees, such as helping people with mobility issues, serving as chanters, and providing another set of eyes for possible issues that may arise to report to the Safety and First Aid Teams.
We also ask each volunteer to watch this training video provided by No Kings entitled "No Kings: Protest Safety, Know Your Rights, and Deescalation.
