In preparation if you’d like to join me I’ll be at Pops Cafe in Coraopolis for sign making on Friday from 10-11am.

Let’s show up in Costume and

MAKE SOME NOISE!

This is an inverted Parade Style Protest, sign waving, a Honk and Wave. We won’t be having any speakers or any formal ceremony.

We’ll feel good about being out there, being visible and holding our signs. We have to exercise our First Amendment to protect it !

Here’s some important information to know:

Parking- we’re at a busy intersection with a ton of traffic, there are plenty of parking spots, parking lots and strips of grass. I’d like us to stand by the yellow squiggle lines if this picture goes through.

What to wear:

Dress for the weather but It’s completely up to you, costumes are highly encouraged!

Safety Issues : We are committed to having a safe, peaceful, and non-violent protest.

Protesters need to stay on nearby sidewalks, and grassy sections (not in the streets or blocking any doors or driveways), safely away from cars and traffic. Please pick a spot and location that you’re comfortable at and keep in mind that inflatable costumes impede visibility ! Come with friends and everyone look out for each other! Dogs and small children are discouraged as we’re pretty close to traffic. Cross only at the crosswalks when safe, better yet, minimize crossing the street.

We aren’t shutting down the streets, we aren’t impeding traffic. We don’t need a permit, we just need to stay SAFE!

Please stand where you’re comfortable.

What to Bring: Bring fun signs, inflatable costumes, bubbles, and Flags! Water!

NO weapons of any type! No Prop weapons, no violent type costumes.
