No Kings March on Sunday June 15th at Brittlebank Park!
The City of Charleston has decided the No Kings Protest Event should be held on Sunday and has moved the location to Brittlebank Park.
It starts around 10.
Here are my thoughts. Dress like ladies. It throws them off. This is a civil rights tactic used and advised by many. Signs are absolutely welcome, but make them something you'd let a child see. We want media coverage and we want to share how civil we are.
I advise parking in the garage of the Publix. Safe, shaded, out of the way.
I will be at the coffee shop by the Publix at 9:30ish, Cafe du Monde. If it is not open, for some reason, I will be in front of Publix at the tables in the shade. Feel free to text me @(843)793-8440.
This is a great opportunity to show how much commitment wehave to Democracy and, to their eyes, not crazy;).
