"No Kings" Day Protests
Saturday, June 14th, is a big Nationwide "No Kings" day of protest. Members of our group are heading to different locations.
For those who are going to the Denver protest you can meet at the dirt parking lot by the Gilpin Food Pantry/Community Gardens to carpool. Cars will be leaving between 10-10:30am. Some of the drivers will be going to downtown Denver. Some will be going to the JeffCo Government Center and taking the train into downtown Denver ($5.50 RT). The Denver protest is noon-4pm. Several of the protestors going to Denver are also planning to go to the Golden protest (3-5pm) after Denver.
Mountain Forum for Peace in Nederland will also hold a protest vigil in Nederland on Saturday, 10-11am.
Boulder's is from 11-1pm near the Library.
No "Mountain Women Move Mountains" Meeting on Sunday,June 15th.
